Job Description

  • Independent planning of enhancements and improvements of the existing IT environment and its support and monitoring (VMWARE, mail, DNS, DHCP, syslog server, firewall, etc.)
  • Installation and support of VoIP solutions (based on Asterisk)
  • Ensure the safe operation of the systems Administration of Linux and Unix systems
  • Assistance in the implementation of system administration projects
  • 2nd level support for business and private customers

 

Qualifications

  • Professional experience in the administration of an environment with Linux systems
  • Sound network knowledge
  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages
  • Willingness to take responsibility
  • Interest in dealing with a rapidly changing technology every day
  • Willingness to provide on-call service (about every 4-5 weeks)
  • German fluent in writing and language, good English skills
